Cecil Mettle-Nunoo is the Founder and Managing Partner of Mettle-Nunoo, Quartey, and Partners PRUC and an Alumnus of the University of Ghana where he obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree and a Master of Laws (LLM) in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).

With an impressive wealth of experience, Cecil is highly regarded for his exceptional skills in advocacy, negotiation, and extensive expertise in key legal areas. He is a highly skilled legal researcher with extensive experience in investment, commercial transactions, civil and property litigation, as well as cases requiring Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).

Before his call to the Ghanaian bar, Cecil worked at the Ministry of Justice and Attorney-General’s Department, where he engaged in diverse areas of law, including international investment and commercial disputes involving the Republic of Ghana.

After successfully completing his pupillage at Ankoma Mensah & Associates, Cecil became an Associate and worked in the the Litigation and Corporate department. He then founded Mettle-Nunoo, Quartey, and Partners PRUC, where he has been providing outstanding service as the Managing Partner.

Cecil is also a lecturer at the UPSA Law School, where he teaches the law of torts and serves as a member of the Editorial Board of the UPSA African International & Comparative Law Journal.

He is a proud member in good standing with the Ghana Bar Association.

Over the years, Cecil has served as an external solicitor for various companies, offering consultancy, negotiation, drafting, commercial and investment advice, debt recovery, and litigation services. He currently acts as external solicitor for: De-Apidaogo Company Limited, a Ghanaian company involved in the purchase and export of gold globally; DML Investments Limited, which specializes in advising investors on expedited access to mining and facilitating various investment options in the small-scale mining sector. He also acts as an international consultant for YAFCO TRADING LLC, a Dubai-based firm engaged in the procurement of gold and other precious stones from Ghana and other regions.

Cecil was also member of the legal team at Ankoma Mensah & Associates, where he played a key role in debt recovery for various financial and non-bank financial institutions.
