About

Olivia Mary Anaman is a distinguished HR executive and legal professional with over 13 years of experience in human resources and strategic management. She holds an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration – Management and Secretaryship, Jayee University College, Ghana; a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Professional Studies, Accra; Bachelor of Laws from Central University College, Ghana; a Barrister-at-Law qualification; and an Executive MBA in Human Resources Management. Olivia is also a Strategic Human Resource Business Partner (SHRBP) of the Human Capital Institute, USA and Certified Human Resource Management Practitioner (CHRMP) of Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners, Ghana.

Olivia has a proven track record of implementing strategic HR initiatives that enhance organizational performance and employee engagement. Her expertise lies in translating business vision into actionable HR strategies, driving change management, and fostering a culture of high performance.

Olivia’s leadership has been instrumental in restructuring organizations, developing HR policies, and managing large-scale talent management projects.

Olivia has occupied various management positions. She is the Regional WOW, Engagement, Diversity, and Learning Coordinator and Group Head for Human Resource and Corporate Affairs at Allianz Ghana/Allianz Africa where she spearheaded the development and execution of strategic HR initiatives that align with corporate goals, driving employee engagement and organizational growth; designed and implemented key HR programs including the Allianz Africa Buddy Program and Employee Recognition Program.; and managed the creation and execution of the HR strategy for focusing on diversity, inclusion, and performance management.

She has also worked in the following capacities: Group Human Capital Manager/Director of Human Resources, of Cosmopolitan Health Insurance (Jospong Group of Companies); Country Representative, Development Initiative for African Women (DIFAW); Head, Human Resources, Vanguard Life Assurance Company Limited; Ag. Head, Human Resources/Personal Assistant to the Managing Director, Vanguard Life Assurance Company Limited.

Her role predominantly included directing the development and execution of HR Strategy and Policies; executing collective bargaining agreements; managing employee relations and talent development initiatives; developing performance management systems; developing talent management systems and employee development programmes; and restructuring HR functions in line with organizational mission and objectives.
